Guy is converting the basement into a simple bachelor apartment so we can rent the house out when he move up to Toronto. There is only a powder room in the basement right now so to make it more comfy and more fit into a description of a bachelor apartment. Guylain has to knock off the entire wall down and turn the powder room into a full size bathroom. It's a fairly big job since it involves the plumbing and also the eletrical work. Guy was very lucky having couple of his buddies to help out knock down the wall and put it back on. But he still need to do the plumbing, put up another new all, put the carpet down and last but not least, paint the entire basement to be a brand new. It's still pretty awesome that he has changed all 4 windows in basement brand new already. We are trying to have it all done before the Easter weekend so Guylain would have one less thing to do on his list. I wish I was there to help out but the fact I know nothing about plumbing really wouldn't help much I guess! But I am definitely proud of the fact that they could turn a basement into an apartment. Way to go, baby! I am definitely looking forward to seeing the new basement. :)
